Thanet House, The Strand

Work on this project involved acquiring planning permission for the removal of existing roof top plant and structures, erection of a rear extension at fifth & sixth floor with associated roof terrace and refurbishment to the office building. Smith Jenkins worked with the client to get an overview of the planning history, discuss the design with the team of architects and submitted a pre-application enquiry to the City of Westminster. Following that relevant reports were completed, and we assisted with the Design & Access Statement and a full planning application was submitted. Permission was granted in March 2017.
