Lower Church Farm, Mursley

The proposal was to convert an existing traditional brick stable building that had become redundant, into a high quality three bedroom dwelling.  The application included the necessary technical information to demonstrate that the building was capable of conversion, and would not impact on protected species. A sympathetic conversion scheme was designed using high quality materials to retain the character of the building, and meet the Council’s design guidance on conversion of traditional buildings in the countryside.  The former stable yard was repurposed as a courtyard garden area to provide additional amenity space for the occupiers.
