Baldip graduated from De Montfort University in 2004 with a BA in Planning and Development.

Baldip has worked in the planning sector for more than 18 years, working as a Consultant and Associate at a number of local and national planning consultancies. During this time, he has been involved in a wide range of projects across the planning spectrum including education, leisure, retail and industrial consultancy. During his career, Baldip has also worked with a number of national and global leisure, retail and fast food operators.

Since joining Smith Jenkins, he has been working on a wide variety of projects including residential, industrial, including R&D, retail, leisure, and commercial development. Baldip has a strong ability to interpret policy and extensive knowledge of the planning process, consultation requirements, along with experience in considering and appraising development proposals. His day-to-day activities include preparing and submitting planning applications, managing large multi-disciplinary teams, and providing ongoing strategic planning advice to existing clients. 

Outside of the office, he enjoys various sports and traveling with his family.
