Grace Phillips

Planning Assistant

Grace joined Smith Jenkins following her studies at University College London (UCL), where she completed a BA in Geography before obtaining an RTPI-accredited MSc in International City Planning from the Bartlett School of Planning. During her undergraduate degree, she explored planning policy on roadside memorials, and later specialised in sustainability during her master’s, researching informal planning practices in Wembley.

Alongside her academic achievements, Grace is an executive member of Transport for London’s Youth Panel, serving as the Customer Service and Operational Performance Panel representative. In this role, she contributes to initiatives that promote sustainability, accessibility, and improved service delivery across London’s transport network. She is also a student member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and is working towards becoming a chartered planner.

Outside of work, Grace enjoys travelling, attending concerts, and spending time crocheting.
