Abbie graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2018 with a BA(Hons) History degree, before studying at Oxford Brookes University, graduating in 2023 with an IHBC and partially RTPI accredited MSc in Historic Conservation.

Before pursuing a career in Heritage, Abbie spent a year working in a variety of client-facing roles and travelling, including a month in Poland volunteering as an English teacher, before volunteering at the Northampton Central Library in the family and local history section. Abbie then gained experience with a Heritage and Conservation placement as a master’s student at Bidwells.

Since joining, Abbie has been working with the London Heritage & Townscape team on a variety of projects. This includes conducting historic background, policy and planning research, preparing a Building Record and site visits. She has taken a proactive approach to assisting on Due Diligence, Heritage Assessments and Heritage Statements. Abbie aims to become an affiliate member of the IHBC while progressing in her current role.
