Teviot Estate, London
We supported Teviot Estate Development LLP – a joint venture between Poplar HARCA and Hill Group – on the ambitious regeneration of the Teviot Estate. This large-scale masterplan will transform the existing estate, delivering around 2,000 much-needed new homes within a series of tall buildings.
Working as an integral member of the design team alongside architects BPTW, we played a key role in shaping the planning strategy. Our input focused on ensuring the proposals not only met local policy requirements but also delivered community benefit. We advised on ground floor layouts to maximise usability and ensure the scheme responded effectively to the surrounding context.
We represented the project through Design Review Panels and pre-application discussions, making a strong case for the development. While recognising that some minor heritage impacts were unavoidable, we demonstrated that these had been carefully minimised and were far outweighed by the wider public benefits, including new housing, improved public spaces, and community facilities.
Our collaborative approach helped secure support for a transformational scheme that will deliver lasting social and economic benefits for the area.
