Ground Floor Retail to Residential Use
Following a planning application refusal for its change of use and then refusal for an A1/A2 to A3 prior approval under (Part 3 Class IA), we were brought in to advise private clients. An appeal was submitted against the refusal of prior approval. The Inspector agreed with our submission that the loss of the appeal property from A1/A2 use would not result in an unacceptable impact on the provision of these services in the area and that the proposed change of use would not affect the fundamental sustainability of the West Norwood District Centre as a whole. The appeal was allowed.
