Smith Jenkins worked with the client to provide full planning consultancy services for the erection of four dwellings, party within open countryside and partly on the edge of a village within Milton Keynes Borough.
The planning case for this was that there had been an allocation within the previous Local Plan which had not be fully developed and the new Policy Map for the newly adopted Local Plan did not take into account the previous allocation when making changes to the defined settlement boundary. The Council agreed that there had been an error in the preparation of the Policy Map and approved the development.
