Harry graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2021. He successfully completed the MPlan course, a 4-year integrated course, which is fully accredited by RTPI, RICS and CIH. In the summer break between year 3 and 4 of his course, Harry worked at Smith Jenkins Planning & Heritage for a 7-week summer placement.

Since starting full time with Smith Jenkins Planning & Heritage he has dealt with a large variety of planning application enquiries. Jobs vary from minor household extensions to assisting with large scale major planning applications for housing, commercial and other services. His role involved conducting preliminary site research, assisting in planning appraisals and developing documents for pre-application and full application submission. Through training, provided in house at Smith Jenkins Planning & Heritage, he have learnt the skills necessary to lead projects on his own, manage client expectations and tackle a variety of challenges that arise within the planning system. As a result, Harry’s role now includes greater levels of project management and successfully guiding schemes through the planning process.

Outside of work he enjoys travelling and taking part in a variety of sports including golf, football and skiing
