Further changes to the General Permitted Development Order have been announced today. These include:
- An extension of the ‘super size’ residential extension for a further 3 years to May 2019
- Permission for Distribution (B8 Uses) to convert to Residential (C3 Use) using the Prior Approval process
- Retail premises to convert to restaurant/cafes and assembly and leisure use
This new 2015 GPDO does not extend the deadline for office to residential change of use beyond May 2016.
