PAD Lingfield College, Surrey
Smith Jenkins acted on behalf of Lingfield College to help secure full planning permission for the transformation of the Performing Arts and Dining Building at the school’s Senior Campus, located within the Green Belt near Lingfield, Surrey.
The project sought to enhance the visual appearance, functionality and accessibility of key campus facilities.
The scheme included a comprehensive façade remodel, the creation of a new enclosed staircase for fire escape purposes, and the reorganisation of on-site parking to improve vehicle circulation and pedestrian safety. The works were complemented by enhanced landscaping and biodiversity measures to improve the overall setting of the school and contribute positively to its Green Belt context.
Planning permission was granted, enabling the College to proceed with the improvement works. The development now delivers a significant aesthetic and functional uplift to the school’s campus, improving both the user experience and environmental quality of the site.
